Perfect gap controll
The gap between the optical surface and the samples being tested variates due to the material quality and processing. With Primoceler’s Glass Micro Bonding the gap can be controlled within 1 um.
This makes demanding high end measurements more precise.

Higher bonding strength translates to more pressure and more speed. While the numeric value depends on the design, it’s safe to say that the difference is huge when compared to adhesives. This has been proven in a MIL Standard shear strength test.
